The Ministry of Rural Development organized annual conference 2019

On Wednesday, January 29th, 2020, the Ministry of Rural Development organized annual conference 2019 and set a target of 2020 with a total of 800 members. The conference agreed the Outcome Report 2019 and target for 2020, which is fully in line with the Ministry of Rural Development’s Strategic Plan 2019-2023. The 2020 target is as follows:

  1. Continue to contribute fully to the Royal Government in maintaining and maintaining peace, political and economic stability, security and public order.
  2. Continue to actively implement the Government’s Phase IV Rectangular Strategy for Rural Development to contribute to employment, equity and efficiency with good governance at the core.
  3. Continue to improve the capacity of civil servants and institutional development to improve the efficiency of the ministry.
  4. Learn the latest technologies for building roads and bridges in rural areas that are resilient and resilient to climate change.
  5. Timely processes, studies, projects and practices of construction, maintenance and repair of rural roads, bridges and art buildings of all kinds, aesthetically resistant to climate change, and prioritized projects in accordance with the needs and possibilities of Budget.
  6. Encourage all units that carry out direct financing and cooperation projects with development partners in the construction, maintenance and repair and construction of all types of art in the Ministry of Rural Development’s laboratory.
  7. Introducing the Rural Road Asset Management System (RRAMS), a modern technology for planning, maintaining and repairing rural roads.
  8. To collect data on roads, bridges, sewers, water supply systems and rural sanitation facilities as a basis for a consistent master plan.
  9. Maximize the registration of indigenous identities.
  10. Increasing rural water supply to reach 90% target by 2023 as stated in Rural Development Strategic Plan 201-2013.
  11. Continue to promote rural sanitation and hygiene, especially the Open Defecation Free (ODF) in five target provinces, including Svay Rieng, Kampong Speu, Kep, Kampong Chhnang and Prey Veng by 2023. Other provinces and provinces must also take active care by focusing on education, outreach and construction of toilets and toilets.
  12. Proposed amendments (1) Sub-Decree 51 on the Organization and Functioning of the Ministry of Rural Development, (2) Sub-decree 141 on the Establishment of the Steering Committee for Overloaded Vehicle Control; Sub-Decree 1977 on the Management of Feed Land on National Roads and Railways.
  13. Develop national policy on rural road development and update technical standards on rural road maintenance and repair.
  14. Increase rural economic activity and entrepreneurship to support job creation and employment to increase household incomes and prevent risky migration.
  15. Cooperate with Ministry of Public Works and Transport to develop form and methodology of Master Plan for Road Development, Planning and Priority Planning.
  16. Strengthen and expand good cooperation with development partners, NGOs and Private sector to mobilize new financial, technical and technological resources to support rural development.
