ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL MANAGEMENT PLAN

The project development objective is to support resilient reconstruction of vulnerable rural transport infrastructure affected by the 2020 floods and recurring flood events, mainstream Disaster Risk Management in government processes, and to provide immediate and effective response in case of an Eligible Crisis or Emergency.​​ This objective will be achieved through implementation of various activities that are organized into four project components.​ Detailed descriptions of each components can be found section 1.2 of this ESMP and in the project Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF).
