គួរជម្រាបជូនផងដែរថា ទិវាពលកម្មអន្ដរជាតិ ១ឧសភា គឺជាព្រឹត្តិការណ៍ប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្ររបស់កម្មករ និយោជិត នៅទូទាំងពិភពលោក ហើយត្រូវបានរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា ប្រារព្ធឡើងជារៀងរាល់ឆ្នាំ ចាប់តាំងពីក្រោយថ្ងៃរំដោះ ៧ មករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ មក។ ដោយឡែកសម្រាប់ឆ្នាំ២០២៦នេះ រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលបានប្រារព្ធទិវានេះក្រោមប្រធានបទ “រួមគ្នាកសាងភាពធន់ដើម្បីការងារសមរម្យ” ដែលជាសក្ខីភាពនៃការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តរបស់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល ក្នុងការលើកកម្ពស់ការអភិវឌ្ឍទីផ្សារការងារប្រកបដោយភាពធន់ និងចីរភាព ដោយឈរលើគោលការកែលម្អលក្ខខណ្ឌការងារ, ការធានាសិទ្ធិការងារនិងសេរីភាពអង្គការវិជ្ជាជីវៈ, ការពង្រឹងប្រព័ន្ធគាំពារសង្គម និងការលើកកម្ពស់កិច្ចសន្ទនាសង្គម ក្នុងគោលដៅបម្រើឧត្តមប្រយោជន៍របស់កម្មករនិយោជិតទាំងក្នុង និងក្រៅប្រព័ន្ធ៕

Phnom Penh: On Sunday morning, April 26, 2026, H.E. Chhay Rithisen, Minister of Rural Development, attended by special invitation a dialogue with leaders of trade unions, informal‑economy associations, and student associations, with more than 5,000 participants. The event celebrated the 140th anniversary of International Workers’ Day, 1 May 2026, under the high presidency of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center in Phnom Penh.

It is noted that International Workers’ Day (May 1) is a historic event for workers and employees worldwide and has been officially commemorated annually by the Royal Government of Cambodia since after the liberation on January 7, 1979. For 2026, the Royal Government is marking the day under the theme “United in Building Resilience for Decent Work,” reflecting its commitment to fostering a resilient and sustainable labor market. The focus includes improving working conditions, guaranteeing labor rights and freedom of professional organization, strengthening social protection systems, and promoting social dialogue, in order to serve the best interests of workers and employees in both the formal and informal sectors.
