H.E. Chhay Rithisen attended as Guest of Honor a meet-and-greet with A‑grade awardees from the national Upper‑Secondary (Grade 12) examination and the Level‑3 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) examination, totaling 2,044 students.

Phnom Penh: On Wednesday morning, October 28, 2026, H.E. Chhay Rithisen, Minister of Rural Development, attended as Guest of Honor a gathering with A‑grade students from the Grade 12 national exam and the Level‑3 TVET exam, totaling 2,044 students. The event was presided over by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Chroy Changvar International Convention and Exhibition Center, Phnom Penh.

This meeting showcased the Prime Minister’s strong encouragement for students who studied diligently and earned an A grade. As a reminder:
– For the 2025–2026 academic year, the Grade 12 (Bac II) national exam was held on August 10, 2026. A total of 125,975 candidates passed, equal to 84.06% of all candidates. Among them: A grade: 2,022 students (female: 1,081), B grade: 8,848 (female: 5,486), C grade: 23,422 (female: 15,214), D grade: 44,869 (female: 27,743), E grade: 46,814 (female: 25,458)
– The Level‑3 TVET exam was held on July 22, 2026, with 1,061 candidates (female: 400). Of these, 1,051 passed definitively (female: 400), including 22 A‑grade awardees (female: 17).

Altogether, the 2,044 A‑grade students came from 535 schools nationwide—354 public schools produced 1,271 A‑grade students, and 181 private schools produced 773 A‑grade students.
