Chhay Rithisen, Minister of Rural Development, attended a discussion meeting on the “Draft National Strategy on the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises 2026–2030,” under the high presidency of H.E. Dr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance, and Chair of the Economic and Financial Policy Committee, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
It should be informed that, to continue the mission from the Royal Government in the 6th mandate in promoting the growth of MSME development in the country, the Royal Government in the 7th mandate, under the dynamic and principled leadership of Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has paid and is paying close attention to addressing the various challenges faced by MSMEs, especially through the Pentagonal Strategy, Phase I, which sets MSME uplift and the development of the informal economy as priorities to increase their contribution to economic growth—aiming to realize the vision of becoming a high-income country by 2050, as well as to be well prepared for graduation from the group of least developed countries in 2029.
