The Government of Cambodia has
allocated funds toward the cost of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation
Project, amounting to $18.6 million,
from the proceeds of the Multilateral
Debt Relief Funds of the International Monetary
Fund and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to recruit a
full-time National Procurement Specialist to assist the Project Management Unit
(PMU) to carry out project-related procurement activities and advisory
services.
The Project has four (4)
components: (a) Water Supply Improvement Component; (b)
Sanitation Improvement Component;
(c) Community Development for
Water User Groups (WUGs) and O & M; and (d) Project Management and
Implementation Services.
