The Minister's Cabinet is a particular unit which has the mission to assist the Minister of Rural Development with the following duties:

- To relate with other Ministry Cabinets, as well as members of parliament and the mass media;
- To give advice to the Minister covering the general affairs of the Ministry and to assess documents that the Minister has to consider; and
- To follow up and coordinate all activities of the Ministry to facilitate the Minister's work.

The Cabinet is headed by a Director and assisted by a number of Deputies. The Advisors and Assistant to the Ministry's Leaders are working within the Cabinet. |
